Monster Banyoles atau Drac de Banyoles adalah naga legendaris dari danau Banyoles di Katalonia. The Banyoles monster or Drac de Banyoles is a legendary dragon of the lake of Banyoles in Catalonia. It lived in the cave of La Draga, could fly, swim and walk, polluted the whole Gironès with its breath and devoured animals and people. Charlemagne failed to kill it when his sword Joyeuse shattered on its scales. In the 8th century the monk St Emeterio (Sant Mer) tamed it with prayers. In one version it was led into town and killed by the people; in another it was turned into a peaceful herbivore and still lives in the depths of the lake. The legend resembles that of the Tarasque. The dragon is now an icon of Banyoles and an emblem of many sports clubs, and the subject of the 2008 children's song "El Monstre De Banyoles".
