Satu kisah Wexford hanya sedikit berbeda: Molly mengawasi Lurikeen sampai ia menunjuk batang booliaun bui tempat harta terkubur, tetapi ketika Molly kembali membawa sekop, seluruh tempat sudah dipenuhi booliaun.

In Irish folklore the Lurikeen is a lutin, a small sprite, and the familiar spirit of tinkers, the itinerant tinsmiths, and is linked with misery and defeats. The clearest tale about him in the second source comes from Kildare. In the Kildare tale a girl called Breedheen finds the Lurikeen mending a tiny shoe under an old tree. He wears a three-cornered hat with gold lace and knee-breeches, with a beer jug and a pipe, and is so absorbed in singing an Irish ballad that he fails to notice the girl seizing him by the scruff. The girl demands his money and will not let go. At the brow of a hill the Lurikeen screams as if Castle Carberry were on fire; when she looks toward the castle, the weight in her hands is gone and he has vanished as if it had been a dream. A Wexford tale differs only slightly: Molly watches the Lurikeen until he points out the booliaun bui stalk where treasure lies, but when she returns with spades, the whole place is thick with booliauns.
